The college is named after Shri Atalatti Siddanagouda Patil, who donated money to start it. The college is part of Rani Channamma University in Belagavi and has an A grade NAAC accreditation. The college offers three bachelor's degrees: B.Com, BBA, and BCA. It also has two master's degrees: M.Com and MBA, approved by AICTE. The UGC gave the college autonomous status for the undergraduate program in 2007 and the postgraduate program in 2008. The college also offers many other courses. .The college is located in the BLDE Association's new campus on Solapur Road and has excellent facilities. Out of 24 classrooms, 19 have information and communication technology. The college has around 1,200 students and a strong faculty team, including 9 PhDs and 7 MPhils.
