Asan Memorial College of Arts & Science is one of the premier self-financing, co-educational institutions in Chennai. It was established in 1994 and is governed by the Asan Memorial Association. The College was formally inaugurated by his Excellency Shri. K. R. Narayanan, then Honourable Vice President of India in the presence of his Excellency Mr. Vakkom Purushothaman, then Lt. Governor of Andaman and Nicobar.

Campus & Infrastructure

The college has a large campus and is located on a twelve-acre campus at Jaladampet (near Pallikaranai) on Velachery Tambaram Road. The campus is beautifully laid out and developed with landscaped gardens and excellent facilities for sports and games.

The college has large and impressive buildings with well-laid out classrooms, well-equipped laboratory facilities, a library, a conference hall, etc. for various departments. A large and impressive auditorium with a seating capacity of over 1000 is also available on campus.
