Admission 2024-25
For B.Tech Program
• 70% of the seats are allotted for the merit students based on their rank in AP EAPCET.
• 30% of the seats are under NRI/Management quota.
For MBA/MCA Program
• The Convener admits 70% of the intake to the MBA & MCA Programmes based on the AP ICET(Integrated Common Entrance Test) rank.
• The Management admits the remaining 30% under management and NRI quota.
Eligibility
For B.Tech Program
• CONVENER: A pass in Intermediate (10+2) or its equivalent with minimum 45% aggregate in Mathematics, Physics & Chemistry and qualifying the entrance exam EAMCET conducted by State Government.
• MANAGEMENT: An intermediate with Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry is enough, no qualified EAMCET exam was required.
B.Tech.(Lateral Entry)
• CONVENER: A pass in Diploma with 50% aggregate and qualifying the entrance exam ECET conducted by State Government.
• MANAGEMENT: A pass in Diploma is enough, no qualified ECET exam was required.
MBA & MCA
• CONVENER: Any degree with valid ICET score for MBA & Mathematics background for MCA.
• MANAGEMENT: Degree is enough, no qualified ICET exam was required.
Infrastructure
The college boasts impressive infrastructure and is conveniently accessible from various parts of the city. It features a meticulously designed administrative block and several student facilities, including separate common rooms for girls and boys, a waiting area, and a cooperative store. The college has well-equipped laboratories for basic sciences and other departments, in compliance with AICTE and University standards. Each class section has its own classroom, equipped with the necessary facilities as per AICTE guidelines. The classrooms are well-furnished and ventilated. An audio-visual room is equipped with teaching aids such as OHP, slide projector, television, video player, LCD projector, video camera, still camera, DVD player, multimedia computer, audio systems, and a microscopic projector to ensure the overall development of students.
Sports and recreational facilities are abundant, with adequate infrastructure provided for both indoor and outdoor games and extracurricular activities. The college campus houses a canteen offering both vegetarian and non-vegetarian food options. The college building has provisions for future expansion, including a Drawing Hall and Conference Hall.
Library
The college features a modern central library with over one lakh documents, including technical books, reports, standards, and back volumes of journals. The library subscribes to 150 print periodicals and over 800 e-Journals, in addition to holding 14,525 bound volumes of journals. Each department also has its own library, and an open-access system is observed. The library has recently added a CD-ROM workstation and an audiovisual section.
Hostel
Ashoka Women's Engineering College provides a well-furnished Girls Hostel with comfortable rooms and amenities. The hostel is designed to create a conducive environment for students to focus on their studies. A modern kitchen and spacious dining area are available for the hostel residents. Generators are provided as a backup power source for the hostels. Emphasis is placed on hygiene and cleanliness, with a customized menu that caters to students' preferences. Non-residential wardens (teaching staff) address the academic and personal issues of the students regularly. Residential wardens (teaching staff) monitor and organize regular study hours. The hostel is equipped with 24/7 security, communication, and medical facilities, including a dispensary and mineral water arrangements.
Sports and Game
The college offers sports facilities for various games and sports, including indoor games. Special trainers are appointed for gym, yoga, and other games like tennis, volleyball, cricket, and shuttle badminton.

Sports and Games Facilities
The institute hosts a variety of sports competitions at different levels. Students participate in various sports, including swimming, volleyball, badminton, throwball, and others. Indoor games like carom and chess are played in the indoor sports hall established by the department. A small gym center equipped with cycling machines, uneven bars, and weight training equipment is available on campus. The department has also set up a volleyball court. Regular yoga courses are conducted on campus to promote a culture of meditation among students, allowing them to gain knowledge of life's spiritual and moral values through yoga practice.
Placement
Ashoka College emphasizes comprehensive career counseling through guidance lectures presented by senior corporate professionals and recently placed alumni who serve as inspiring role models for current students. The college arranges campus interviews for final-year students across all disciplines with reputable industries and businesses from across India. Each student at Ashoka undergoes mock interviews, including aptitude tests and group discussions, in addition to technical and HR interview preparations guided by professional trainers. In-house technical and soft skills trainers support the students from the beginning of their course.
Scholarships
Ashoka College offers scholarships to students who have achieved high percentages in their Intermediate examinations. The college provides scholarships for hostel facilities to students belonging to SC, ST, and BC categories. Our college assists students in applying for various other scholarship schemes, including minority scholarships and private scholarships such as Fair & Lovely Scholarships, Jindal Scholarships, and more.
