Assisi College of Nursing is a dream project of Vijayapuram Diocese under the patronage of Bishop Rt. Rev.Dr. Sebastian Thekethecheril . It is a self-financing professional college run by the Vijayapuram Diocese and a unit of the Assisi Hospital Society. This college was Established in the year 2012 and is affiliated with the Kerala University of Health Sciences(KUHS ) and approved by the Kerala Nurses and Midwives Council, Red Cross Road, Thiruvananthapuram, and Indian Nursing Council. Assisi College of Nursing conducts a bachelor's degree in Nursing of four-year duration with an annual intake of 40 students. The course aims at preparing professional nurse graduates who are competent to render qualitative care to patients in all settings.

Computer lab

The Nursing Computer Lab Coordinator is available to assist students in their learning. As well, our peer mentoring program allows nursing students to assist their peers with learning. Peer Mentors are 3rd or 4th year nursing students who are hired into the lab based on recommendations by Clinical Instructors. Peer Mentors are available at select times daily to assist students with skill practice.

Library

The Assisi College of Nursing Library is located in Erumely, Kottayam Dist. Kerala. It is a fantastic resource for nurses undertaking study, particularly B.Sc/GNM nursing students.  The library has close links to other nursing and health libraries in Kerala and can easily be accessed by ACN students and members in all parts of India and overseas. ACN students and members have access to online library services and our specialist library staff undertake individual searches and provide advice on a wide range of subjects.

Foundation lab

The nursing Foundation lab is a patient simulator. Nursing is an art and science that needs a lot of practice. The Nursing Foundation lab is the practical area of the students, where they perform all nursing procedures prior to exposure to the clinical field. The faculty uses the lab for various demonstrations of procedures in nursing.  This spacious laboratory is well equipped with the patient simulator, cardiopulmonary resuscitation mannequin, life form hand simulation, etc. in addition to the facilities in real ward situations.

Pediatric lab

This clinical application course guides the student in providing comprehensive care for ill children. The student will engage in a variety of learning experiences within the hospital and the simulation setting. Emphasis will be placed on the nursing process as a basis for holistic patient assessment as it relates to the delivery of informed nursing care.
