Atal Bihari Vajpayee Hindi Vishwavidyalaya is a state university in Bhopal, Madhya Pradesh, India. It was established in December 2011. The university is named after Hindi poet and former Prime minister of India, Atal Bihari Vajpayee. Mohan Lal Chhipa is the first Vice Chancellor of the university
Atal Bihari Vajpayee Hindi Vishwavidyalaya was founded in the year 2011 to help promote Hindi as a means of instruction in any academic field. Furthermore, the Vishwavidyalaya was created with the intention of forming an era with a balanced personality as well as self-reliance.
As of this point, it is known that the Vishwavidyalaya has developed two31 educational programs for students studying Hindi in 18 faculties. The most important thing is that students applying to the VIshwavidyalaya must be studying Hindi as well as one foreign language and one regional.

Atal Bihari Vajpayee Hindi Vidyalaya offers postgraduate and undergraduate classes in the areas of arts, commerce sciences, computer applications management, pharmacy as well as law and education.
Hostels
The campus houses three boys' hostels as well as three girls' hostels. Furthermore, the students in a cooperative manner take care of the mess. Applications for admission to the hostels are available at the various hostel offices. Doctor. Hemant Khandai, Dr. Sunil K. Snehi, as well as Dr. Kapil Soni, are the Wardens of the Boys Hostel. The Madhya Pradesh government has proposed to the University Grants Commission (UGC) that a center for coaching students from minority groups be transformed into an ordinary department. In addition, it is the State Government has committed to providing the department with funds after the UGC funding period is over. In fact, it is true that the Government of Madhya Pradesh and this universities are one of the few in the nation to grant such a classification to minorities Coaching and Guidance.
Admission to all courses is on merit. The candidates who qualify can apply online through the official website of the college. The main eligibility requirement for undergraduate programs is that you must pass 10+2. However, to be qualified for postgraduate programs applicants must have graduated with a degree in a relevant field of study.
The university offers scholarship opportunities to students who have less financial resources and with good scores.
State-sponsored scholarships such as Awas Sahayata Yojana for SC/ST students are offered by the university which offers monthly financial aid to students belonging to the SC/ST category.
Another scholarship is Post-Matric Chatravriti, which helps highly qualified students from economically disadvantaged segments of the minority community to offer them better chances to pursue further education.
The university wants to create such a young generation which is world-class in terms of employability-skills and character with overall personality development. The university wants to create such an educational system, which can develop such a thinking in the students, teachers and parents, while coordinating the Indian knowledge tradition and modern knowledge, which is capable of giving priority to the welfare of the entire creation by being India-centred.
Atal Bihari Vajpayee Hindi University is a special university of its kind in the country. Its specialty is reflected in such a way that it will conduct courses in arts, social sciences, commerce, humanities, science, medicine, engineering, law, education and other modern approaches through Hindi language only.
