Industrial Tour & Training

Avanthi Institute of Pharmaceutical Sciences Every candidate shall undergo practical training in Pharmaceutical Manufacturing House / Approved Hospital / CSIR research labs for a period of not less than one hundred and fifty hours to be covered in not less than 45 days after completing III years or IV years. Candidate should submit two copies of the training report duly certificated by the authorities of the training center in which he/she has undergone training, duly accepted and certified by the Head of the Department. Candidates studying in the final year of the course shall visit several pharmaceutical manufacturing houses as a supplement to their academic training and submit a report to the satisfaction of the Head of the Department where he/she has studied.

Scholarship

Avanthi Institute of Pharmaceutical Sciences fee structure for Students is to pay 40,000 per annum and the opportunity for the scholarship is provided by the government and students need to submit application forms in the college.

Admission

Bachelor of Pharmacy Eligibility

Candidates should have passed the 10+2 examination with Physics and Chemistry as compulsory subjects along with one of the following – Mathematics / Biology. Obtained at least 45% marks (40% in case of candidate belonging to reserved category) in the above subjects taken together. Candidates who have passed the D. Pharm course approved by the Pharmacy Council of India shall also be eligible for this course and can be admitted directly to II Year.

Master of Pharmacy of Pharmaceutical Analysis Eligibility

A candidate who has passed a Bachelor’s Degree from any recognized University with a minimum of 45% marks in aggregate or any other equivalent qualification.

Master of Pharmacy of Pharmaceutics Eligibility

A candidate should have passed the B.Pharm degree examination of RGUHS or B. Pharm examination of any recognized Indian University as established by law in India or should have completed any other degree courses in pharmacy recognized as equivalent by RGUHS University or Pharmacy Council of India,(PCI) and/or All India Council of Technical Education (A I.C.T.E,) for this purpose and should have secured not less than 50% of the maximum marks (aggregate of four years) prescribed for the qualifying examination. Then s/he shall be eligible for admission to the M.Pharm course. For SC / ST / Category-I (Karnataka) candidates must have a degree in B.Pharm.
