Established in 2001, AWH Engineering College (AWHEC) is a self-funded engineering school administered by the Disability Care Association (AWH) in Kozhikode, Kerala. It is alienated from APJ Abdul Kalam Technological University (KTU) and recognized by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE). The AWH Engineering College is a co-educational institution whose sole purpose is to recognize outstanding engineers.

The library's collection includes books, journals, reports, standards, and patents in science and technology.LIC has acquired several thousand books, national and international printed magazines, CD-ROMs, etc. The E-LEARNING CENTER (ELC) subscribes to over 5,000 electronic resources and 200 full-text journals available through the INDEST subscription. ELC also provides access to DELNET. The library provides services such as reference services, user advisory services, dissemination services including interlibrary loan services and document delivery services, e-mail notification services, bibliographic services, reprographic services, a parent educational database, journals and periodicals, newspapers, access to electronic resources, etc. In addition, a continuous information service is offered. The alumni book bank started operations in 2007 with the financial support of the AWHEC Alumni Association. 

Testing and Consultancy: 

The Materials Testing Laboratory and the Geotechnical Laboratory of the Faculty of Civil Engineering offer equipment for testing all types of building materials and the technical properties of soils. In addition, the college can provide consulting services for various engineering institutions. 

Computer Lab: 

The college has a well-designed and state-of-the-art central data center. The facilities are organized in such a way that students can work comfortably for hours. A total of 500 systems with LCD monitors and printers are available to students. An extensive corpus of computer science literature enables students to improve their skills in client-server development environments. The centers are equipped with exclusive software. In these centers, uninterrupted nutrition is guaranteed. All departments and laboratories on campus are networked. 

Placement Cell: 

AWH Engineering College has an independent recruitment agency dedicated to meeting the needs of leading organizations for on-campus interviews for senior-year AWH Engineering College graduates. It is led by a senior professor at an additional cost and supported by internship coordinators from all faculties. The employment office has facilities for PPT, written tests, group discussions, and job interviews. It plays a key role in career guidance and helps AWH Engineering College students succeed in learning. This includes advising students on the course of the internship, assisting them in preparing their CVs, and training them in group discussions, job interviews, and written tests. This office also coordinates various activities related to the Institute's interaction with industry.
