Bharathiar School of Management and Entrepreneur Development (BSMED) was established in 1984. The school has a sanctioned strength of 1 Director, 3 Professors, 5 Associate Professors, 6 Assistant professors, and a Placement Officer. However currently eight members of the faculty are on the rolls, the program received wide support and acceptance from the industry, business, and within AICTE norms.

Infrastructure and Facilities

Library:

The school has a fully functioning library with over 5000 Books, Journals, and Magazines related to Management Disciplines. The library is fully air-conditioned and can accommodate 60 students. The library also has an online subscription to EBSCO in order to aid the Faculty members, research scholars, and students with their research. The library working time is from 10 AM to 5 PM on all working days.

Seminar Hall:

The BSMED Seminar hall can accommodate 180 participants. The Seminar hall is equipped with state of an art PA system with a Projector and the Seminar Hall is fully air-conditioned.

Smart Classroom:

The four Smart Classrooms consist of an LCD Projector ceiling mounting kit with all accessories for the projection system with an 84" Motorized Screen with Remote and include Visualizer and Wireless adapter for the TS600, 78" diagonal interactive whiteboard with OS, hardware, advanced Amplifier, Wall Speakers, Wireless lapel microphone, Grosneck mic and also include HDD based DVD Players.

Computer Lab:

The department has a fully air-conditioned computer lab with 80 computers with LAN and Wifi. All computers are connected to an external server for monitoring and troubleshooting. The lab is also equipped with Projector and an 84” motorized screen.

Placement Cell:

A state-of-the-art placement cell is functioning in the department. The placement cell consists of an Interview room, group discussion room, and Waiting hall. The rooms are equipped with advanced projectors and computer facilities with video conferencing.

Management Development Centre:

A fully functioning management development center is created for the purposes of training and developing the faculty members, researcher scholars, students, and professionals who want to develop their managerial skills.

Conference Room:

The school has a fully equipped Board room with video conferencing facilities with the latest facilities for conducting offline and online meetings and discussions.
