This is the only Arts and Science Women's College in Tirur taluk, affiliated with Calicut University. The college campus is conveniently located at Kadungathukundu, en route to Tirur from Puthanathani. Established in 2012, BYKAS College for Women, Kalpakanchery is a self-funded college for women headed by Valavannur Bafakha Yatheemkhan.
