The Institution Bahubali College of Engineering (BCE) was established in 1997 by His Holiness Jagadguru Karmayogi Swasthishree Charukeerti Bhattaraka Swamiji, the Chairman of the S.S.D.J. Jnana Prasaraka Sangha which is running Educational Institutes from Primary education to Graduate level in various disciplines/fields of study. It has gained experience and endeavors to produce bright young men and women for the millennium with excellence in technical knowledge. The BCE-Shravanabelagola has been recognized by the Government of Karnataka and approved by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) New Delhi and It is affiliated with the Visvesvaraya Technological University (VTU), Belagavi. The institute has been conferred a Jain Religious Minority Status. It is an unaided institution.

A language lab with 30+1 participants is available at the college. Faculty and students who are interested are welcome to visit the language lab and work on the many modules available.

Boys Hostel

The College has separate Boys' hostels within the campus. The hostels can accommodate 300 boys. The hostel is elegantly built with ample spacious rooms, bathrooms, hot water, internet facility, south, and north Indian mess. The hostels are also located within the college campus. For first-year students, separate hostel building blocks are present to avoid any cases of ragging.

Girls Hostel

The College has separate Girls' hostels within the campus. The hostels can accommodate 150 girls. The hostel is elegantly built with ample spacious rooms, bathrooms, hot water, internet facility, south, and north Indian mess. The hostels are also located within the college campus. For first-year students, separate hostel building blocks are present to avoid any cases of ragging.

Placement

On campus, there is a full-fledged office for the Training and Placement department. The department features a private boardroom and five-panel rooms with all of the necessary equipment to conduct campus hiring programs. Malnad College of Engineering placement cell conducts an introductory talk about the opportunities, as well as career growth and planning, along with sessions on communication skills, and soft skills. Bahubali College of Engineering UG Admission Process 

Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects in 10+2, as well as one of the following disciplines: Chemistry, Biotechnology, Biology, Technical Vocational subject, Computer Science/ Information Technology/ Informatics Practices/ Agriculture/ Engineering Graphics/Business Studies, with a minimum of 45% (40% for reserved candidates).

OR a 45% diploma in Engineering and Technology (40% for reserved category candidates).

Bahubali College of Engineering PG Admission Process 

A B.E/B.Tech degree (E&C/E&TC/Telecommunications/IT/CS&E) with the specified qualifying examination and an aggregate score of at least 50% in the examinations considered for class declaration.

Candidates who obtained their bachelor's degree from a university outside of Karnataka must obtain and submit a certificate of eligibility from Visvesvaraya Technological University, Belgaum.
