Bakhtiyarpur College of Engineering (BCE) is among the six brand new Government Engineering College established by the Government of Bihar under the Department of Science and Technology. The college will begin its first academic year (2016-17) on the its old campus at the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT), Patna at Patliputra Colony. This new college for engineering will comprise four engineering departments that include computer science mechanical, civil and electrical & electronic - with a maximum intake of 60 students for each branch and 240 students the total.
