College Library is a well-equipped, partially automated, two-storied library with a spacious seating arrangement. The library houses over 33,000 books including a good collection of rare study material, national, and international journals, and biographies in Punjabi, English, and Hindi. in addition to the present, it houses several Reference books, Magazines, Newspapers, Audio video cassettes, CDs, Maps, and Manuscripts. A salient feature of the library is the preservation of Back Sets of journals. Also, it's the only library within the Jalandhar Cantt area that provides open membership to 1 and all. The library has subscribed to INFLIBNET whereby quite 6000 e-journals, 3135000 e-books, and bibliographic databases are made available to college members and students through the N-LIST program. The library is arranged according to DDC 23rd latest edition and provides an open shelf system with a Bar Coding facility. The library provides low-cost Internet and Reprography services to the users.

Sports Facilities

Sports and games have always been an integral part of the curriculum of this institution. Education as an elective subject was introduced within the session 1981-82. The dept. has excellent infrastructure and learning resources to impart sound training in various games and sports like Judo, Weight Lifting, Power Lifting, Volley Ball, Badminton, Ball Badminton, table game, Squash, court game, Athletics, Yoga, Kho kho & Tug-of-war. The students are made confident and competent enough to participate successfully in international, national, inter-university, state, district, and inter-college competitions. The outstanding players are extended incentives, fee concessions, free hostel facilities, etc.

Canteen

1. A spacious and well-furnished canteen has been provided for the convenience of the students. 

2. within the banquet hall of the canteen, get-togethers, and parties are often organized by the staff and also the students. because the college is fully concerned with the right nourishment of the students, a neat canteen well equipped with nutritious food welcomes the staff and students. 

3. The rates are fixed at the start of the session. 

4. Two staff members are assigned the duty of looking after the hygienic conditions as well because of the quality of eatables within the canteen.

Auditorium

The college has an Audio-Visual Room, which is used by all the departments. This Multipurpose room is used for subject lectures, guest lectures, seminars, presentations, departmental activities, and workshops. It's equipped with Multimedia Projectors and OHP. Various departments, clubs, and societies are regularly using the Audio-Visual room.

Hostel Facilities

The college hostel with all modern facilities is out there for 50 students. it's situated within the campus and is equipped with all modern amenities like television sets, water coolers, electric lights, flush lavatories, a room, a neat and hygienic mess, and a spacious dining room. The Hostel Committee ensures the welfare of the border. Library facilities and coaching is also made available to the resident scholars. Seats within the hostel are limited and no one can claim admission within the hostel as a matter of right. It's compulsory for each girl seeking admission to the hostel to bring her father/guardian with her at the time of admission. In no case, the younger sister/brother are accepted as guardian.

Placement

To prepare the students for the duty market, the college contains a ‘Placement Assistance Cell’. This cell makes arrangements for sending the students to job fairs organized by different institutions. Information regarding various academic courses, competitive exams, and vacancies is provided to students through notice boards.

Admission

1. Original certificate of the last University/Board examination passed and attested photograph.

2. Character Certificate duly attested by the top of the Institution last attended.

3. Detailed marks, Discharge, and Migration Certificates just in case of a student from the other board or university in India.

4. University registration (For old students only)

5. Certificates of Merit for meritorious performance in games and co-curricular activities from the top of the Institution last attended.

6. Those students who have passed the Matriculation Examination or +2 Examination from a Board of Education other than P.S.E.B. are required to provide at the time of admission an eligibility certificate obtainable from G.N.D.U., Amritsar.

7. If at a later date in certain cases, the eligibility of a student from another Board or University is not accepted by the Nanak Dev

8. University, the fees of such students will not be refunded.

9. it's the duty of the student concerned and not that of the college to get the eligibility certificate. Nanak Dev University can impose a fine of Rs.1,000/- if the eligibility certificate isn't obtained within one month or as per the dates prescribed by the University for the submission of the Migration Certificate.
