Facilities and Infrastructure

GIRL'S HOSTEL:

The college hostel with all modern facilities is available for 50 students. It is situated within the campus and is equipped with all modern amenities such as television sets, water coolers, electric lights, flush lavatories, a recreation room, a neat and hygienic mess, and a spacious dining room. The Hostel Committee ensures the welfare of the border. Library facilities and coaching is also made available to the resident scholars.

MESS:

The hostel runs a common mess where girls are fully associated in order to make the kitchen a success. All efforts are made to provide the girls with a wholesome and clean diet. Mess Committee consisting of the President, Vice President, and three members(all students) draw the menu and supervise the arrangement with the guidance of the Hostel charge. Mess Charges are to be given in advance before the 10th of every month. 

BUS SERVICE:

With a view to providing facilities of conveyance to the students from sub-urban areas, the college runs its own buses at very reasonable rates. Ten college buses fetch the students from 107 villages situated by the Jalandhar – Hoshiarpur Road.

COLLEGE LIBRARY:

College Library is a well-equipped, partially automated, two-storied library with a spacious seating arrangement. AUDITORIUM :

The college is having an Audio-Visual Room, which is used by all the departments. This Multipurpose room is used for subject lectures, guest lectures, seminars, presentations, departmental activities, and workshops. It is equipped with Multimedia Projectors, OHP. Various departments, clubs, and societies are regularly using Audio-Visual rooms.

ADMISSION

Admission to all classes will be on a merit basis and a first come first serve basis. Will have to clear the fifth subject of the group chosen within a year if passed the lower examination from National Open School, New Delhi otherwise the provisional admission will be cancelled.
