Bannari Amman Institute of Technology is an engineering college located in Sathyamangalam, Erode, Tamil Nadu, India. It was founded by the Bannari Amman Group in 1996 and is affiliated with Anna University. Bannari Amman Institute of Technology is an Autonomous, Self-financing Engineering College, Approved by AICTE, New Delhi, and Affiliated with Anna University, Chennai. Nestled on the banks of The River Bhavani, the BIT campus provides an environment for learning in harmony with nature, away from the odds of city life. The spacious and earth-hugging buildings punctuated with landscaped courtyards and pathways are designed to emphasize the business ethics and or characteristics of an excellent center for learning. The Existing sports facilities for students include a 400 m standard athletic track with 8 lanes including a Long Jump & Triple Jump Pit, Sectors for Shot-put, Discus & Javelin throws, In additional, it has also a standard bed for High jump and Pole vault events, a football field and two kho- kho courts, a Hockey field with curb, 65 m radius cricket field with two net practice pitches & one portable net, two Volleyball courts, two Ball Badminton Courts, one Handball Courts, and two Kabaddi Courts. The total area of the BIT Play Field is 5,74,580 sq. ft.

Hostel

Well-furnished Hostel of BAIOT for gents and ladies with four, double and single occupancy rooms are available with separate guest rooms. The living rooms are built with an aesthetic layout, containing a wardrobe and storage space. The dining halls with a seating capacity of 4100 students are available. Well-planned and equipped servicing counters, a highly modernized kitchen, and a cold storage and dishwashing machine form a part of residential functions. The student Centre of the Institution is certified for the 5S Work Place Management System.

Gym:

Fully equipped and scientifically designed gym facilities are available in the boy's and girls hostel separately. The boy's gym consists of Three 4 stations, three 2-station, and 16 single-station gym equipment, Weight lifting, and Powerlifting sets. And also we have enough barbell weights, barbell & dumbbell rods, fixed dumbbells, cattle bells, and Gym Balls. For women, two 4-station equipment, three 2-station equipment, and 6 single station equipment. Regularly, there are more than 100 students avail of the gym facilities.
