HOSTELS

Around 2009, a noble initiative was taken to establish a new era of polytechnics and engineering colleges, which resulted in the opening of the academic session of Barak Valley Engineering College in 2017. The soul-warming campus of Barak. Valley Engineering College consists of two beautiful on-campus hostels, one for boys and one for girls.

All other campus buildings are well connected to the hostels by transport. Round-the-clock security is ensured in the campus and hostels, which promotes a stress-free life and joins in improving the academic outlook of the borders. To promote the green energy revolution, the guest houses will be equipped with solar-powered lights in every room, corridor and bathroom, a first of its kind in the state of Assam. The rooms are beautifully designed, spacious and comfortable, each room has accommodation for two people and quality furniture. The total capacity of both hostels is 80 passengers.

Each hostel has a hygienic kitchen and dining area with full equipment. Each hostel has a common room for the promotion of the activities of the hostel and personal education of border regions. Many co-curricular activities are often organized so that every member of the hostel can actively participate. In addition, each hostel has its own hospital (2 beds); Two different rooms for the disabled and two double rooms are also available.

Placement

The institute has been quite successful in terms of investment scenarios as we have had a large number of MNCs and tech giants recruiting our students along with leading Indian companies. Some of the selected names are TCS, Cognizant, Mind tree, ATLAN and many more. The highest package recorded so far is 10 LPA and the average package varies from 3.6 LPA to 4.2 LPA per annum.
