Babasaheb Bhimrao Ambedkar University, School for Management Studies was established in the Year’2010.
The University is committed to achieving the goals of its birth. The University provides 50% of the places in all courses reserved for Schedule Caste and Schedule Tribes students. Now, with government directives, the university also offers 10% of the places reserved for the economically weaker section. The university also provides tax exemption for students from Scheduled Castes and Tribes who attend regular classes. The University also provides financial assistance to Scheduled Caste and Scheduled Tribe students for the preparation of their dissertation and thesis.

Babasaheb Bhimrao Ambedkar University, School for Management, Lucknow courses are offered at various levels like Undergraduate Degree (i.e BBA, B.Com, etc.), Postgraduate Degree (i.e MBA, etc.) and Ph.D. and many more. Residential Accommodation
Separate boys and girls hostels with high security are available on the university campus. Boys and girls have two hostels with WiFi services for UG and PG, which can accommodate about 450 students each with good infrastructure. A university van and a car are always available to meet new customer needs. A well-equipped gymnasium is set up for the students of the hostel to develop the physical abilities of boys and girls.
Library
In line with the vision and mission of Babasaheb Bhimrao Ambedkar University (BBAU), Lucknow, the Central Library was founded in January 1998 to promote knowledge and application through its effective dissemination of knowledge and information. BBAU Central Library was named Gautam Buddha Central Library after Lord Gautam Buddha. The library is governed by the BAC (Library Advisory Committee). The LAC is the senior decision-making body that operates under the chairmanship of the Vice-Chancellor. The library serves as the University's learning resource center to integrate the educational and informational needs of faculty and students.
Medical Services and Health Center
The University Health Centre provides basic health services to all the students, administrative staff, and faculty members including dependants, and non-teaching staff of the University. Health services have been started at the university in 2005 and a qualified doctor Dr. Rakesh Pradhan has been hired to provide health services in the administrative block. Subsequently, in view of the growing number of students and staff, a separate dedicated building was constructed and became operational in 2013.
Canteen
It is speckless and maintained very well. It provides good quality fresh Snacks, cool drinks, coffee, tea, and other food items in a hygienic, healthy way that suits the pockets of the student.
Sport
Babasaheb Bhimrao Ambedkar University, Lucknow strives for academic excellence, and at the same time sponsoring varieties activities that could contribute to the development of a healthy personality and promote health among students. Sports and Games are one such area promoted by the University with an intention of ensuring the Physical, Mental, and Emotional Health of the Student Community. For the proper functioning of the university's intramural and extramural sports program, the sports section was established by the university in 2007.
Computer Center
University came into existence in the year 1996 with only a few departments. After the start, in the early years, there were hardly any computers and internet facilities. Later on, the university managed to provide limited computing facilities to its students, teachers, and staff. The Internet structure has also been made available through the ERNET and BSNL devices. Due to very limited infrastructure on campus in its early years, there was virtually no campus network for proper internet facility, except for the then administrative cum academic block where limited LAN connectivity was provided in 2004.

The most important asset of any civil society is its trained and skilled workforce. In the contemporary competitive world, education is not just a means of imparting knowledge, it equips students with contemporary professional skills and the ability to take on global challenges to contribute more to society and meet one's professional aspirations. The university's central placement unit was created during the 2007-08 academic sessions. Since its creation, the unit has helped students identify training and placement organizations. In addition, on-campus interviews are organized to give students the opportunity to present their own talent and to facilitate them to be placed in various organizations across India and Abroad.
The Vision of the University is, “To be a dynamic, creative and competitive Centre of Excellence in advanced knowledge, especially relevant for the development of the nation and of the socially, educationally and economically marginalized sections of the people”.
The objectives of the University as enumerated in the University Act are: To promote advanced knowledge by providing instructional and research facilities in such branches of learning as it may deem fit. To make provisions for integrated courses in science and key frontier areas of Technology and other allied disciplines in the educational programs of the University.
