BES College was founded in 1972. The College aims to provide a value-based education at an affordable cost to students, most of whom are first-generation students. The campus extends over 4.3 hectares and the college has a constructed area of ?? 12,152 sq with well-ventilated classrooms, a spacious library, a well-kept playground, a canteen, and a green campus.

It is only available for institutional and departmental programs. The acoustically modified auditorium is equipped with the most advanced "XLC" line array speaker system, the Midas Sound Console (Venice 320) digital blinds system, a high-quality projector, and automated cameras.  A food court, motorized tents, and ample parking are some of the other features.

The college has an on-campus canteen that caters to the needs of staff and students, serving quality and hygienic food at a reasonable price.

The library is a store of knowledge comparable in knowledge to the Reserve Bank of India.
