The library also has a collection of newspapers; journals back volumes, competitive exam books, GATE question papers University question papers, and syllabi of all the branches.

Hostel

BGS Institute of Technology Mandya hostel has separate Boys and Girls Hostel. Day to day affairs of hostels are managed by respective Wardens. There is also a Hostel Committee to help in taking policy decisions. Yoga and Meditation classes are held for both boys and girls in the early morning on alternate days.

Accommodation is provided on a sharing basis. Rooms with basic furniture like a cot, table, and chair are provided. Bedrolls, linen, etc. have to be brought by the students themselves. Strict discipline is maintained in the hostels. Late-night entry, and leaving the hostel without permission are not allowed. Smoking and drinking on hostel premises are prohibited. 

Transportation

BGS Institute of Technology Mandya Transportation and Parking Services offers the BGSIT community a single location for all transportation and parking information. Canteen

BGS Institute of Technology Mandya Canteen inside the campus in which both South Indian and North Indian dishes are available at reasonable rates. The canteen remains open on all working days. Beverages of different flavors are served on different days according to different seasons. A committee consisting of staff, students, and trustees oversees the functioning of the canteen and its upkeep.

Sports

BGS Institute of Technology always encourages sports in a big way. The Department of Physical Education and Sports was started in the year 2005. The sports department has been actively headed by Mr.M.C KUMARA, Physical Education Director, since its inception in promoting physical activity and sports. Placement BGS Institute of Technology 

Placement opportunities are not too good, but not too bad, Dream companies like Amazon, IBM, CISCO, and GOOGLE, will not come, but mass recruiting companies like TCS, NTT Data, Mindtree, etc will come for recruitment. Yes, the college will provide an internship, I got selected by a company called Joules to Watts, hence it was not a good one, I didn't join, and the average stipend is around 2.5 lakh trackbacks. Admission

BGS Institute of Technology offers the M.Tech course with 3 disciplines (12 seats each) and MBA programs with an intake of 60 seats. Each course is of 2-year duration. Candidates are admitted to the M.Tech program based on their valid GATE score and to the MBA program based on their marks obtained in KMAT conducted by KEA.

Candidates seeking admission to the B.Tech course have to apply through the website of KEA.

Those who want to join the MBA course must apply online for KMAT.

Students who have passed 10+2 in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics with a minimum of 45% marks (40% for ST and SC category) in the aggregate are considered eligible to get admission to the B.Tech course.

Those who have BE or B. A Tech Degree with a minimum of 50% marks (45 % for the reserved category) along with a valid GATE score is eligible to get admission to an M.Tech course.

Admission to the MBA program is given to those students who have passed Graduation in any discipline with at least 50% marks.

Selection of the candidates for admission to the M.Tech program is given based on GATE.
