Library

The air-conditioned central library is an example of excellence in library services and collection. This fully computerized Wi-Fi library has on its shelves more than 85,000 volumes which include a comprehensive array of Engineering, Management, and Polytechnic in print format. It has a membership of DELNET and a subscription to Info Tract packages in electronic formats. The library also holds about 6000 E-books collection that is available on the web. The Library subscribes to about 200 current periodicals on different subjects. It also holds back volumes of periodicals. The library also provides old question papers for the students.

The aesthetically designed three floored was founded keeping in view the modern-day education demands and it contains various sections viz. Circulation, Periodical, Reference, Reprographic, and a separate e-journals lab for online journals and e-books. The library also has one conference hall at the top with 150 seating capacity. All the sections are under surveillance security system.

The college has an auditorium facility for events and seminars.

Medical Facilities

The Institute has its o providing necessary medical aid to the students and staff on campus. To ensure the safety of the students and to minimize the risk involved, proper medic health Centre amenities with first-aid are also provided in lobs and workshops of all the concerned departments, and hostels (boys and girls).

BGIET cafeteria is well maintained and fully endowed to meet the culinary needs of the students, It offers refuge to the students weary of their strenuous and hectic academic schedule.

Transport Facility

The College Transport facility is provided by the institute to the student & staff. The Institute runs a total of 56 buses throughout the Patiala, Samana, Nabha, Ahmadgarh, Malerkotla, Amargarh, Dhuri, Sherpur, Sindh or, Kathala, Basaur, Barnala, Tapa, Dhanaula, MehalKalan, KattuBalian, Sunam, Chathe (Sunam), Longowal, LehraGaga, Moonak, Patran, Khanauri, Dirba, Bareta, Budhlada, Mawi Kalan (Samana), Bhawanigarh & also to the Sangrur. For this facility, the nominal charge is paid by the students.

Placements

Training & Placement Cell is established to have institution-industry interaction and to develop students' skills to achieve success in their professional careers. The cell is associated with all engineering departments of the college. To coordinate the activities of the placement cell, a placement committee of students of various disciplines has been constituted.

1. To organize campus interviews for placement of pre-final & final year students by liaisoning with the HR departments of reputed industrial establishments.

2. To arrange Project Work/Semester industrial training in Public/Private sector undertakings enjoying a reputation for products, quality & culture. This will synthesize the theoretical knowledge acquired in the academic curriculum.

3. organize seminars/workshops for the personality development of students at regular intervals.

4. It is a forum for industry-institution interaction. Eminent personalities from industry/institutions are invited to deliver lectures on new technologies developed and their implementation in the industry.
