Bharat Institute of Technology was established in the year 1999 by the Chinta Reddy Madusudhan Reddy Educational Society with the noble aim of imparting quality pharmacy education to students aspiring to become responsible pharmacists and to cater to the needs of the pharmacy profession. The college is situated in a sprawling 120-acre campus situated 24 km from the heart of the city. The focus of the architecture of the gigantic pharmacy building is to provide the bright ambiance needed for the overall growth of both the students and faculty. Bharat Institute of Technologies (BIT) mission is to impart higher education to both urban and rural students in the field of pharmacy and to conduct advanced research programs in fostering close partnerships with R&D institutions and industries. BIT is approved by the reputed AICTE and PCI, and is affiliated with JNTUH, Hyderabad. Management of BIT Hyderabad is working under Dr. T.K.V. Kesava Rao (Principal).

Scholarship

Depending on the reservation fee structure is variable from person to person. Management seats cost higher than the seats allotted for counseling. If we got a seat through counseling we just need to pay 50% of the actual fee.

Admission

Bachelor of Pharmacy

For admission to B. Pharm, the State Government, conducts an entrance exam called TSEAMCET every year in the month of April.

The students are given a ranking based on the marks obtained in the test and the percentage of marks at the intermediate level or 10 + 2 level. Both MPC & BiPC groups are eligible. Admissions are conducted by the Convenor TSEAMCET by means of web counselling, based on the combined rank obtained in the TSEAMCET.

Students can opt for the course and college of their choice.

70% of seats are filled through the TSEAMCET rank by the Convenor and 30% of seats are filled by the management as per the State government-prescribed rules from time to time.

Master of Pharmacy

For admission to M. Pharm, the State Government conducts an entrance exam called PGECET every year in the month of May/ June.

The students are given a ranking based on the marks obtained in PGECET.

Admissions are done by means of web counseling, based on the rank obtained in GPAT and for the remaining seats based on the PGECET rank.

Students can choose the course specialization and college.

70% of seats are filled through the GPAT and PGECET ranks by the Convenor and 30% of seats are filled by the management, based on the merit at PGECET / B. Pharm as per the State Government prescribed rules from time to time.
