Bharata Mata College is a nationally accredited, nationally accredited, co-educational, world-class arts and science college operated under the Bharata Mata Educational Trust and owned and operated by the Archdiocese of Ernakulam-Angamaly. The college was founded in 1965 by His Eminence the late Cardinal Joseph Parecattil and is affiliated with Mahatma Gandhi University in Kottayam. The school is located in Thrikkakara, the mythological capital of Kerala, opposite the seaport - Airport Road. It is located just 12 km from the city of Kochi and easily accessible from Judgemukku on the Edappally-Muvattupuzha road in the north and NGO Quarters and Palli stops on the Kakkanad-Ernakulam road in the south, as well as by BMC bus on the seaport road route des airport.
