Facilities and Infrastructure

The College is endowed with a fully computerized main library with an area of 750 Sq.mt, which has a collection of nearly 24107 books, 1936 Reference Books, 2500 CD ROMs, 55 Floppies, 35 Audio Cassettes besides subscribing to nearly 142 national and international journals and 43 leading magazines. In addition, it has a collection of 515 back volumes of journals and magazines. A comfortably furnished airconditioned reading room that provides a conducive environment for its members Nagu. Apart from this, individual departments have their own specialized collection of books. We have a separate section for PG courses.

An air-conditioned internet center with a 45 Mbps wireless dedicated line with high-end computers is provided for the student's use. The campus is fully connected with an intranet facility. Staff and students are provided to access the internet. The Campus along with the Hostel is Wi-fi enabled. Students can research on the Net referring to many journals and publications, etc. They can access the web anytime, anywhere whether it is the Campus premises or the hostel.

There are separate hostels for Boys and Girls. Hygienic food and surroundings add to the efficiency of hostlers. Tutors in the hostel help weak students to equip themselves with difficult subjects. It is a perfect home away from their homes where they never become homesick.

We have over 240 I7-11 gen computers, which are fully networked and have the latest software. The computer center is fully air-conditioned with adequate UPS backup, has a covered area of more than 15000 sq. ft, and has internet facilities through a 250mbps leased line with BSNL and a local loop by RailTel Corp. The microwave lab is well equipped with all required types of equipment like Klystron power supplies, microwave trainer kits, directional couplers, etc.

We have a separate playground for cricket, football, volleyball & Athletic Track for conducting extracurricular activities and Sports. The students of our college participate in all levels of Sports conducted.

A Technical Seminar hall has been built to conduct all types of seminars. The Seminar hall also has facilities for Internet for online classes. The Seminar Hall has audio and projection facilities for effective audiovisual demonstration lectures and also for conducting mini-conferences.

A modern and huge auditorium has been built to host all the programs. The auditorium block also has facilities for computer applications.
