Admission Procedure

Candidates may avail of spot admission at the office of the Centre for Distance and Online Education during all working days and at all the PCP Centres and Learner Support Centres on Saturdays and Sundays.

The CDOE offers Postal Admission Facility also for those who are unable to come in person to the office for admission.

Courses and Eligibility

B.A.

A pass in Higher Secondary Examination (10+2).

B.B.A., B.Com.

Eligibility for B.B.A., B.Com ., B.Com., Computer Applications, B.Com., Bank Management   - A pass in Higher Secondary Examination (10 + 2) with Commerce and Accountancy.  20% of seats may be reserved for Vocational Stream. The candidate who has passed a Diploma in Commerce or Modern Office Practice (3 years) of equivalent awarded by the Directorate of Technical Education / National Council of Vocational Training is eligible for lateral entry to 2nd year

B.Sc.

A pass in the Higher Secondary Examination (10 + 2) with a relevant subject as one of the core subjects.

B.C.A.

A pass in Higher Secondary Examination (10 + 2) with Mathematics as one of the core subjects.

B.Lib.I.Sc.

A pass in any UG Degree (after 10th and +2)

How to Apply for Bharathidasan University Distance Education?

• To apply for any of the UG, PG, Professional, or PG Diploma/Diploma/ Certificate courses, the procedure is the same.
• Students need to fill out an application form which can be obtained from all PCP Centers/ Learner Support Centers of the CDE.
• Application forms can be found online on their website and can be submitted there only or the same may be printed and sent to the CDE with enclosures.
• Students need to attach the consolidated statement of attested copy of the marks list of degree/ diploma or qualifying degree.
• A payment of INR 500 through DD drawn in favor of “Bharathidasan University” payable at Tiruchirappalli or through a challan from the State Bank of India, Bharathidasan University Branch, Tiruchirapalli or online is to be made.
