As the majority of the students studying different programmes in the University Departments hail from places far from Tiruchirappalli, the University offers hostel centers for needy college students at a low cost. At present, there are 9 hostels inside the University. Among them, four hostels are meant for Men and the remaining five hostels are for Women.

Health and Wellbeing

The University’s Health Centre was established in the year 1993. The Health Centre is positioned in a construction with three hundred sq. ft.Area, which could be very near the Administrative Building, Hostels and to the Staff Quarters. The Health Centre has physical facilities such as a bathroom, toilet, washbasins, fans, lights, drinking water, etc. The health center has First-aid medicine, an IRR Lamp, an Electrocardiogram, and other basic pieces of equipment.

Sports and Fitness

Bharathidasan University has an excellent infrastructure for sports and games. The sports infrastructure includes a good gymnasium with multi-gym facilities a yoga center, and an indoor stadium for table tennis, chess, carom, weight lifting, and powerlifting.
