Bharati Vidyapeeth’s New Law College, Sangli was established in 1997 to satisfy the pressing demands of the public to provide legal education to the students in and around Sangli. Particularly to those who come from the rural areas of the district. Since then, we have been taking strenuous efforts to train the youths to be competent lawyers and legal professionals. Infrastructure and Facilities

Bharati Vidyapeeth’s New Law College, Sangli,  with the aim of imparting legal education to the students of this region. The college is approved by the Bar Council of India, New Delhi, and Affiliated with the Shivaji University, Kolhapur. The Law College is centrally located in Sangli city. The building, in which it is housed, is an architectural marvel. It is about 1 km from the central Bus stand and 3 km from the Railway station. Bharati Vidyapeeth’s New Law College, Sangli is located in the sprawling educational complex.

The infrastructure facilities include well furnished classrooms, seminar hall, reading room students common room, ladies room, amenities like telephone, banking and large circulation space. Latest teaching and learning aids and equipments are used for imparting Legal education. These include OHP, LCD projectors, multimedia systems, public address systems, EPABX, Fax machines, etc. The college is equally sensitive to the needs of persons with physical disabilities. Two lifts are available in this multi storied building from its very inception. A wheelchair is also available on the first floor to facilitate easy access to classes, library, moot court hall, canteen, etc.

To provide better services to its users BV’s New Law College, Sangli has established its own library in Year 1997 for students as well as for faculty members. College Library is equipped with one of the best libraries with a collection of both Indian and foreign books. Students use it not only for curricular references, but also for all in-depth research and co-curricular activities.

Admission

MH LAW-CET is a national level common entrance exam conducted by Directorate of Higher Education, Maharashtra to shortlist aspirants for admission in law programs offered in the State. On the basis of an aspirant’s performance in MH CET-LAW 2018 exam, candidates can secure admission in BA LLB (5 years integrated course) and LLB (3 years) Course.
