Facilities and Infrastructure

The expansive university infrastructure, laboratories, well-stocked library, and all amenities took shape under the capable and dynamic guidance of Dr. Shivajirao Kadam, Vice-Chancellor, Bharati Vidyapeeth Deemed University, Pune. He pioneered and led the establishment of pharmacy education in the University of Pune by establishing Poona College of Pharmacy Pune.

Quoted by some eminent personalities in the pharma career, the pharmacy university building is recognized as one of the best-planned pharmacy university structures in Asia.   With continuous guidance from Honorable Vishwajeet Kadam, Secretary, of Bharati Vidyapeeth Pune, the university has evolved into one of the premier pharmacy institutes in the country.  

Library Facilities:

The Bharati Vidyapeeth College Of Pharmacy, Kolhapur library is the heart of an educational institute. The university boasts a rich and diverse collection of books and reputable journals, regularly updated to keep faculty and students informed about the latest developments in pharmaceutical sciences.   It is equipped with library software and internet connectivity for online referencing. The library, besides serving university users, is open to other academic/professional users from affiliated institutes/professional institutions for reference.

Auditorium Facilities:

The auditorium is a crucial facility where seminars, guest lectures, alumni meets, and other events are organized. Fully air-conditioned, it accommodates 250 people comfortably. The auditorium is equipped with audio-visual aids and modern acoustics.

Labs Facilities:

The Bharati Vidyapeeth College Of Pharmacy, Kolhapur Common Facility Center Lab is well-equipped with instruments such as UV-VISIBLE spectrophotometer, RP-HPLC, Diode Array HPLC, and Biopac.

Classroom Facilities:

The fragrance of the blossoming flower of the academic garden depends on the knowledge, skills, and flair of students. The university has three lecture halls with a capacity of more than 60 students and two lecture halls with a capacity of 20 students, fully equipped with necessary amenities like OHPs, graph blackboard, and audio-visual facilities.   Additionally, there is an air-conditioned seminar hall with multimedia facilities.

Cafe/Mess Facility:

The Bharati Vidyapeeth College Of Pharmacy, Kolhapur cafeteria is spacious, clean, hygienic, and serves delicious food.
