Library:
Bhavan’s College Library was set up in 1946 to attain the targets of Bhavan’s College and to impart Bharatiya Vidya. Bhavan’s Library being an integral part of the teaching program and curriculum plays a central role in enhancing the quality of the academic and research environment in the College. Initially, it had a collection of around 10,000 books mostly in the field of Arts, and at present, the Library possesses a very rich Collection of Books, Periodicals, Audio-Visual materials, Bound Volumes, and up course E-Resources to cater to the changing needs of staff and students fraternity.
Student Council:
The college has formed a student council for the welfare of the students. The council has decided to sell the extracurricular sports of various college students institutions for higher company life. However, the council shall not engage in any political activities.
Applicants are required to have successfully finished a 10+2 level board examination from an accredited board, with a minimum aggregate score of 45%. Selection will be based on merit.
National Merit Scholarship: This scholarship is provided to the students based on the that The candidate should have completed a minimum of 85% of the SSC and HSC examinations. State Government Open Merit Scholarship: This scholarship is provided to the FYJC students of Arts, Science, and Commerce based on that the student must have achieved at least 84% marks in the immediately preceding examination. This scholarship is provided to the students for their excellence in sports. The college students are commemorated with INR 500 to INR 2000.
