Founded by Kulapati Dr. KM Munshiji, on November 7, 1938, almost a decade before the advent of independence, Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan rose from small beginnings to a global, intellectual, cultural, and educational movement.  It is a completely secular and non-political organization. The main purpose of BharatiyaVidyaBhavan is to create a bridge connecting the past, present, and future on a solid foundation of core values of life. 

Bhavan believes that in all cultures there are elements that break down all barriers and bring people together. Our ideal is "VasudhaivaKudumbakam" - (The world is one family) and our motto is "AnoBhadraahKratavoyantuvishvatah" - (May noble thoughts come to us from all sides). Bhavan also firmly believes that the simple act of reviving old values and restoring them to adapt them to today's changing needs will empower people to integrate the good with the new without breaking their traditional anchors.

Bhavan's College of Arts and Commerce offers Undergraduate Programs Bachelor of Arts (BA) in English Literature, Bachelor of Arts (BA) in Communicative English, Bachelor Of Commerce (B.Com.) Taxation And Finance, Bachelor of Commerce (B.Com) in Computer Applications, BBA (Bachelor of Business Administration), and Master of Commerce (M.Com) in Finance and Taxation.

A real computer laboratory with the latest equipment is available to students and employees with hardware and software licenses. They also have an Internet connection that can be rented, which allows them to access information to keep their knowledge up to date on current developments in this field.  These facilities help students get hands-on experience with the latest craftsmanship. 

Canteen: 

"Taste Buds" in the college canteen is the perfect meeting place for students for snacks and other drinks. 

Communications Lab: 

The sophisticated communications lab is equipped with equipment for audio recording, video editing, and log stacking. Students receive hands-on training in radio, television, and journalism production. 

Placement: 

Our college has a training and internship position that organizes the training and further education of students. These training and preparation sessions are taught by exceptional individuals who have the resources to help our students develop innovative soft skills that will enable them to carve out their own niche in an ever-changing world.  Our goal is to prepare our students' skills for employment to meet the needs of recruiters. The Placement Committee also works with various companies to arrange on-campus interviews for our students. The college also cooperates with the Education Unit of MG University and organizes training programs on the college campus. We also identify and prepare students who aspire to higher education and allow them to develop their personalities according to their aspirations.
