Bhivarabai Sawant Institute of Technology & Research (BSIOTR) is one of the competent engineering colleges, established in 2009-10, and is situated on a picturesque heart throbbing landscape at Wagholi on Nagar –Pune Road. The institute offers Under Graduate courses in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, Electronics & Telecommunication, and Mechanical Engineering. Residential Accommodations:

The institute has two well-furnished and ventilated girls' hostels (Hostel A and Hostel B) with a total capacity of 585 students.

Hostel Rules And Regulation

1. Student Admitted to JSPM's Institute/College will alone be eligible for admission to the hostel.

2. Admission to the hostel will be valid till the end of the current academic year.

3. Rector will allot the rooms after confirmation of admission to the hostel. Students are not allowed to change rooms only with the written permission of the rector.

4. Fees paid will not be refundable except under special circumstances.

5. Students are not permitted to stay away from the hostel during the night without the permission of the rector.

Library:

College Library includes a recreational collection of recreational/self-help nonfiction, popular fiction novels, audiobooks, CDs, movies, video games, and popular magazines.

Transport

The campus offers bus facilities to students coming from distant places within Pune City. Buses with a capacity of 25-30 seats pass through the different routes to cover major areas and colonies of Pune. These buses are also used for industrial visits and short-distance trips. Students and faculties can avail of the bus facility by paying the requisite fees.
