Bhogawati Mahavidyalaya was established in June 1971 on the premises of Bhogawati Highschool at Shahunagar (Parite) to fulfill the need for higher education of the students, living in the area of Bhogawati Co-operative Sugar Factory. The aim of the college is to render a valuable service in the field of education by providing the facilities of higher education to students of nearby villages.
