Facilities and Infrastructure

Residential Accommodation:

Boys & Girls are separate and both hostel located close to the institution it is well equipped to accommodate around 150+ students with facilities away from home.  All students have a study table, chair, bed, and wardrobe for a  comfortable stay and for studying. The canteen is well equipped with stainless steel cooking equipment and other facilities. A residential caretaker stays at the hostel to look after the needs of the students all the time. There is a 24-hour security service at the hostel for student safety.

Library: 

The total collection of the Library is over 74200+ Volumes (Including UG Library and PG Library 48850+ and 25400+ Ebooks) for reference and manuals with 13700+ titles.  The Library and Information Center subscribes to more than 88 printed journals, covering all branches of the engineering and management program as well as various eResource databases through the VTU consortium, Belagavi. In addition to this, it contains over 896 bound volumes, 3008 learning CD-ROMs, several data books, and project reports.

 Canteen:

The BNMIT campus houses a hygienically maintained canteen in a scenic setting that serves food to students all-day apart from catering to cultural and other congregations on campus.

Admission through various entrance exams like

BNM Institute of Technology, Bangalore accepts admission through various entrance exams like ComedK/CET Rank card.

Scholarship:

CET students admitted within the ranking 1000 will be given a scholarship of Rs.25,000/- at the time of admission. COMEDK students admitted within ranking 3000 will be given a scholarship of Rs. Toppers in every branch every semester will get a Merit Scholarship of Rs.20,000/-. Scholarships of Rs.10,000/- to Rs.25,000/- will be given to rural students from economically weaker sections admitted through CET. A student who is selected to represent VTU in interuniversity sports is awarded Rs.10,000/-.

Placements:

The Placement Department establishes contact with various industries to find out their requirement of the specific quality of manpower and invites them for the campus recruitment process almost a hundred percent of students are placed in reputed companies each year. The packages offered for the present batch vary between 3 & 20 lakhs per annum.
