Admission to B.Tech (Regular) is offered on the basis of a score of JEE Main or WBJEE.  For B.Tech Lateral Entry, the candidates have to qualify in JELET conducted by the West Bengal Joint Entrance Examinations Board (WBJEEB).

90% of the total seats are filled through WBJEE and the remaining 10% are filled through JEE Main. If seats remain vacant, then such seats are filled by the candidates holding a valid rank in the WB JEE or JEE Main examination.
