In 1999, the B.P. Poddar Institute of Management and Technology (BPPIMT) was set up as a tribute to the late B.P. Poddar, a visionary philanthropist, educationist, and founding father of the group. Supported by the B.P. Each year Annual sports, Inter-college Football Tournaments, and Cricked Tournaments Throw ball Tournaments are organized in the NKDA Stadium on a rented basis. Students are also encouraged to participate in various Inter-college sports and games events. The Institute provides spacious facilities for Indoor Games such as Table Tennis, Carrom, and Chess separately for boys and girls.
