College of Agricultural Engineering and Technology, Bhubaneswar Admission is open for all UG and PG courses for the academic session 2024-25. The application fees depend on the program in which program you want to be admitted. The College of Agricultural Engineering and Technology is also accepting applications for Lateral Entry Courses, Online Degree Programs, and Distance Education Courses.

College Of Agricultural Engineering And Technology (CAET) Admission 2024-25

For undergraduate admissions, both OUAT and ICAR administer admission tests, while OUAT exclusively conducts admission tests for postgraduate (PG) and Ph.D. programs. Online registration is mandatory for both OUAT and ICAR examinations. A quarter of the undergraduate seats (8 seats) are filled through ICAR, and admission is facilitated through spot counseling.

To apply for admission, candidates should follow these steps:
  1. Register on the official website of the college.
  2. Pay the application fee of INR 1000 for the Entrance Examination using the State Bank Collect facility available on the State Bank of India's web page.
  3. After a successful payment, obtain a print of the e-receipt and enclose it with the application as proof of payment. The e-receipt contains a Reference Number starting with "DU," which the candidate should use for all future correspondences with the University.
  4. Submit the duly filled application form, along with self-attested copies of the required documents, to the following address: "The Director, College of Basic Science & Humanities, OUAT, Bhubaneswar."

B.Tech Specialization: Agriculture Engineering
Duration: 4 years
Eligibility: 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and Maths
Selection Criteria: Admission test conducted by OUAT. 25% of the seat is filled up by the ICAR entrance test.
M.Tech Specialization: Agricultural Process And Food Engineering, Farm Machinery And Power Engineering and Soil And Water Engineering
Duration: 2 years
Eligibility: B.E or B.Tech in Agriculture
Selection Criteria: Entrance Based (GATE)
PhD Specialization: Farm Machinery & Power, Agricultural Processing And Food Engineering, Soil And Water Engineering
Duration: 3 years
Eligibility: M.E/ M.Tech in Agriculture
Selection Criteria: Merit-Based and interview conducted by OUAT
