Placement
- CAET is dedicated to providing organizations with well-suited engineers tailored to meet the specific needs of each entity. Our commitment to cultivating these capabilities is methodically ingrained in our students from their second year in college. Led by a seasoned professional, the training and placement division focuses on preparing students for their professional journey.
- The preparatory process encompasses various areas, including building relationships and projecting a persona suitable for a young engineering graduate entering the workforce. We address two crucial aspects of student capability: technological abilities, overseen by experienced teaching staff, and soft skills, increasingly vital in today's industry. The college provides on-campus facilities for conducting comprehensive campus interviews, including presentation spaces, aptitude test areas, group discussion rooms, and interview spaces.
- The Training and Placement division strategically develops these abilities through structured training programs. Internal and external faculties collaborate to deliver training in personality development, communication skills, and intensive exercises to enhance analytical abilities, enabling students to interpret data more efficiently.
- Over the years, we have witnessed significant progress, with an increasing number of students securing positions in prestigious companies. Additionally, esteemed companies regularly approach us for potential candidates, showcasing the credibility of our graduates.
Appeal to Recruiters:
- The College's Information and Placement Bureau (IPB), operating since 2001, caters to students' placement needs by inviting companies, MNCs, and corporations for on-campus recruitment. The IPB provides technical facilities for various recruitment processes and organizes activities related to personality development, including technical talks, student debates, and presentations.
- A team of professors manages the Placement Bureau, overseeing tasks from inviting companies to providing hospitality during their stay. Student volunteers actively contribute to events organized by the Bureau, fostering a sense of responsibility towards their institute. The Bureau is equipped with modern facilities, including an air-conditioned presentation room, an interview room, a staff office with connectivity, and a waiting room for students.
- Companies interested in organizing campus recruitment drives are encouraged to contact us with details such as the proposed date, company profile, and annual pay package.
Training:
In addition to practical and field training during the summer break in the second and third years, Agricultural Engineering students undergo experiential learning. This hands-on approach aims to build practical skills and entrepreneurship, preparing graduates to handle work situations effectively for better employability and self-employment. The initiatives include setting up model plans for food processing and value addition, workshops for manufacturing, operation, and maintenance of farm machinery, and custom hiring of agricultural equipment.
