Born in the year 2002, and nurtured for all 10 years, today the Institute has a sprawling excellent learning environment, set in picturesque lush green surroundings near Mumbai - Kolkata National Highway (NH-6) in the township of Uluberia, about 30kms from the District Headquarters, Howrah & 34 km from Kolkata. It has got good communication with Kolkata city, which is an added advantage to getting in regular touch with academic & scientific Institutions in Kolkata to facilitate the growth & development of the Institution. The founder of the institutions had a clear vision and a well-defined mission to build an institution to provide vigorous, high-quality, and relevant education in India so that the student community would have an alternative to education in a foreign country. The institute is 2 km away from Uluberia Rly. Station (S. E. Rly), where daily local EMU service is available from Howrah & Kharagpur. Daily bus service is also available from Kolkata & various other distant parts of the District, & the State.

HOSTEL FACILITY

Separate Boys and Girls Hostel Accommodation is available for outstation students. The ragging-free BOYS hostel is located on the campus and a separate ragging-free GIRLS hostel is also there within 1 KM from the campus. Both the hostels incorporate furniture, electricity with generator backup, sufficient water, etc. Every hostel is monitored by a round-the-clock warden.

CANTEEN

The institute has a specious, well-furnished canteen with a hygienic drinking water facility with a capacity of more than 100 pupils.  The canteen serves quality lunch, tea, coffee, snacks, cold drinks, etc at a reasonable cost.

LIBRARY

The library serves as the backbone of the institute. It has a vast collection of textbooks, reference materials, journals, e-journals magazines, periodicals, audio videos, CD ROMs, research publications, etc.  

In the library, there are 54487 volumes of books incorporating 2071 Book Titles, 115 national journals, 9 International Journals, and STM e-journals. The library is well equipped with a spacious Reading Room and WiFi facility. The students can visit the library catalog for various subjects through LIBSYS online service available in the Library and can place their library books’ requisition through the online system too.

The students get a general book lending facility for their respective subjects in the ensuing semester.  Additionally, every individual student also gets a BOOK BANK facility to avail another five-six book for reading purposes at their home throughout the ensuing semester.

SPORTS

The campus is endowed with indoor and outdoor sports facilities like football, cricket, table tennis, chess, carrom, etc. In each academic year, the institute organizes interdisciplinary cricket, and football tournaments in the campus playground.

COMPUTER CENTER

The institute has a central Computing Centre with high-speed internet. Anyone can access the lab for Internet Surfing, Printing, and Document Scanning purposes.

MEDICAL & FIRST AID

First Aid medical facility is available on campus. The institute has an AMBULANCE facility for the students and staff as well to get admission in nearby hospitals within 1 KM for medical emergencies.

FACULTY

The Governing Body works under the Chairmanship of eminent Prof. B. K. Gupta, Former HOD, Dept. of Pharmaceutical Technology Jadavpur University and President, of West Bengal State Pharmacy Council. He is also a life member of many national & International Organisations. He is crowned with 39 years of teaching and research experience in the profession of Pharmacy. Prof. (Dr.) R. Debnath has taken up the responsibility of Director/Principal of the faculty. He is backed by an experience as a Former Principal I/C of a Regional Pharmacy Institution and also has vast Research & Teaching experience. The other members also possess rich teaching experience in various Institutes of Pharmacy. The overall management and teachers council will have the sole objective of the Pharmacy Curriculum to provide an academic foundation with adequate professional experience to enable a graduate to successfully practice in pharmacy.

LABORATORY

Every individual department has well-equipped state of art laboratories where the students can do best practices as prescribed in the university curriculum.
