Admission

Camellia Institute of Technology and Management in Hooghly, West Bengal was established in 2009. The institute is affiliated with Maulana Abul Kalam Azad University of Technology.

Camellia Institute of Technology offers B.Tech program of four-year duration and Diploma in engineering program of three-year duration in two specializations. The college also offers B.Tech and Diploma Lateral programs.

Application process for both B.Tech and B.Tech Lateral Entry courses is in online mode.

For Diploma and Diploma Lateral Entry program, application process is in both offline and online mode.

Candidates applying for B.Tech program must have passed 10+2 examination in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics from a recognized board.

Candidates with B.Sc. degree or Diploma in Engineering degree can apply for admission to B.Tech second year lateral entry program.

Admission to B.Tech is done on the basis of WBJEE or JEE Main.

For admission to B.Tech Lateral Entry, candidates have to appear for WB JELET, conducted by West Bengal Joint Entrance Examinations Board.

90% of the seats shall be available for admission through the WBJEE and remaining 10% seats shall be available for admission through JEE Main.

For the Diploma in engineering program, candidates must have passed class 10th with at least 35% marks.

Minimum eligibility for Diploma Lateral Entry course is HSC examination or two years ITI from a recognized institute.

Admission to the Diploma program is done on the basis of JEXPO entrance exam.

Admission to the Lateral Entry Diploma is done on the basis of VOCLET entrance exam.
