Secured the Overall Second place in Anna University Zone XIX in 2014.Second in zone 19 Anna University in the academic year 2014. Overall 25 people have been in university teams till now(inter-zone). boys had been in University Volleyball, Kabaddi, Athletics, and Cricket Teams. Overall second place in Athletics, in zone 19 in the academic year 2012, 2013, and 2014.

Library:

College has a well-established Library and information center with a huge collection of Books of 21981 volumes and 11243 titles, covering all major fields of Science and Engineering Technology with international standard resources. The Library and information center have separate reading and reference sections to serve undergraduate and postgraduate Students, Faculty, and Research scholars. Books are classified and arranged according to Dewey decimal classification scheme. The library subscribes to 138 national and international journals and Magazines. E-Resources are available as per AICTE Mandatory, subscribing IEEE, ASME, ASCE, SPRINGER, ELSEVIER, MCGRWW HILL(ACCESS ENGINEERING), ASTM DIGITAL LIBRARY, J-GATE(ENGINEERING AND TECHNOLOGY). 

Scholarship

The scholarship is sanctioned to the wards of government employees such as police, teachers, etc. by the welfare association of the concerned Depts.No previous graduates in the family, Annual income less than 2 lakhs.Above 50% Marks with no Arrear.

Placement

Employability Enhancement Activities: aim to give our students fine-tuning required not just for placements but to make them familiar when they set foot in the corporate world. Right from first-year conduct placement and training activities in four phases and we carry out various employability enhancement activities.

Admission

The candidates must have passed the 12th (intermediate) or its equivalent examination from the government-recognized board with the subjects as Physics, Mathematics, and Chemistry with a percentage of 50% (for general candidates), 45% (for the backward class including Muslim), 40% (MBC & DNC) and 35% (for SC/ST/SCA) candidates.
