The Central University of Rajasthan has witnessed exponential growth. This Central University of Rajasthan was founded on March 3rd, 2009 with the help of Act No 25 of 2009. It is under the jurisdiction of the Department of Higher Education India. The university established through the Act of Parliament did not have its facilities until recent times. It was founded with just two courses. Ever since its beginning it manages students up to the standard of the 1700s and offers a variety of classes in around 29 areas of study.

The main campus of the university is situated in Bandar Seendri at Ajmer. Additionally, the campus is specifically set up in a rural setting to facilitate a more holistic education for students. The campus is located on a plot of 518 acres, which proves that it is a massive size learning center.
