Established in 2016, the Center of Design Excellence (KODO) is part of Jaipur Vivekananda Global University (VGU). The Institute is established by an Act of the Rajasthan State Assembly. It has become one of the most important and popular design and architecture institutions in the country. CODE Jaipur Courses in B.Des, M.Des, B.Des MBA and B.Arch. In addition, the institute also offers undergraduate and doctoral programs. Admission is by online application. Candidates will be selected based on the results of NATA, UCEED, and JEE Paper 2. CODE Jaipur also conducts aptitude tests through the De-CODE exam.

Facilities and Infrastructure

A limited number of 20 design students and 40 architecture students gives each student their own space where the student can work alone and in groups to complete academic and professional design tasks.

CODE Library, the institution's own library, contains an extensive collection of books, journals, magazines, and a large collection of reference works. Our library enhances learning beyond the standard curriculum textbooks.

We have enough space to display student works, where every semester students have an opportunity to present their best products/works and explain to visitors/industry experts.

It is a place where students can play games, paint murals, and many other creative works in their free time.

CODE has its own small pantry where students and lecturers can prepare their own snacks, food, tea, coffee, etc. if they need it. The pantry consists of a microwave oven, a refrigerator, an induction oven, and all the appliances to make students feel at home while working on campus.

The Brickyard is an interesting open space that students make; for informal socializing between students, faculty, visitors, or professionals and is also a great venue for our tea and canapé parties.

Our well-equipped computer lab/Visual Studio has over 100 computers updated with all necessary professional 2D and 3D design software.

The laboratory has various metalworking machines (metal lathes, cutting, cutting, and bending machines, various types of welding and soldering machines), all industrial/professional power tools, and hand tools.

The laboratory has a range of woodworking machines (wood lathes, wood cutting machines, miter saws, scroll saws, table saws, scrap saws, circular saws, scroll saws, radials, stem saws, various design machines, all industrial/professional power tools and hand tools.

The laboratory has industrial printing machines, laser cutting machines, sandblasting, etching, compressors, etc.

Admission

Class 12th Certificate (completion of 12 years of formal education) and at least 45% marks in any HSCE stream – Qualify De-KODA exam or UCEED.
