Laboratories:

Nursing Foundation, including Adult Health Nursing & Advanced Nursing Lab, Community Health Nursing & Nutrition Lab, Obstetrics and Gynaecology Nursing Lab, Child Health Nursing Lab, and Computer Lab, Scribbling on the walls or computer tables is not permitted, Chairs should be arranged properly before leaving the lab. 

Library:

The central library and college library are located in the library block. The library at the Cheran College of Nursing is a storehouse of knowledge, stocking more than 4,000 books of current Medical and Nursing titles and subscribes to about 26 National and international print journals, E-Books & more than 150 E-Journals. A minimum of two books may be taken from the library for now no longer extra than 7 days. Students should enter their names with a sign on the entry register kept at the entrance before entering the library. Students should confirm their entry /out to the library through a barcode reader by using an ID card.

Amenities:

A separate hostel facility for Boys & Girls is available near the campus. Physiotherapy College Professors are wardens for physiotherapy students who will look after facilities and the problems of the hostel mates. The rules & regulations of the hostel should be followed strictly. Cheran campus is a lush green campus having trees and lawns to give a natural atmosphere which motivates the students and gives positive energy. The academic campus, hostel, playground and recreation facilities are available within this specified acre health campus. The uniqueness of our campus is students can interact with other health professionals studying on this campus which might help them to change their personalities.

Transport:

A full-fledged Transport department functions in the college with buses to provide transport facilities to students and staff from various places. This service is offered to ensure hassle-free and safe transportation. The College runs 05 buses for providing transport facilities to students from various places. The number of buses will be increased corresponding to the increase in the intake of students.

Admissions of Cheran College of Nursing

Candidates belonging to all categories for admission to the B.Sc Nursing Degree course should have passed the Higher Secondary Examination – 12th with above 35% in the following subjects: Physics, Chemistry Biology/Botany and Zoology. Candidates should have passed the B.Sc Nursing degree programme from a recognized university.
