Cheran College of Pharmacy (CCP) – preserves the pride of the first pharmacy college in Tamil Nadu state. The college was incepted in the year 1992 and it is approved by the Pharmacy Council of India (PCI) with an admission strength of 60 in B.Pharm, 30 in Pharm.D, and 21 in M.Pharm.

The central library and college library are located in the library block. Apart from this department library is also available with minimum books related to the respective field of specialization. A minimum of 2 books can be taken from the library for not more than 7 days. The library will be open from 8.00 A.M. to 5.30 PM throughout the year. A locker system is provided in the Central Library. The locker can be given to the students for one day. The key for the locker is available with the librarian.
