Residential Accommodations:

Chhatrapati Shivaji Institute Of Technology understands that most of our students are moving away from home for the first time, so we strive to make the transition as smooth as possible by offering comfortable and safe hostels with a homely atmosphere. The college offers 2 separate hostels for boys and 2 hostels for girls having a capacity of 150 students each, with a Hostel Warden/ Manager in each hostel to supervise day-to-day management; in addition to this round, clock security is provided at the hostels. All the rooms have been designed and furnished to provide adequate moving space with ample air and light.

Library:

The institute has a well-equipped state-of-the-art Central Library, named as Tagore Library. This four-storied mammoth structure, housing over 64,000 books, subscription to 150 Journals and other reading materials; is a place of attraction not only for the students but also for the academia of the state. The library is fully air-conditioned and is well-equipped to facilitate students, faculties and staff to learn.

The Institute comprises 11 Computer Centers with overall 310 computer systems. Computers are having configurations:

Auditorium:

Central Workshop:

Central Workshop is a centralized facility of the Institute and it is one among those that serve, support and enhance the academic activities. Central workshop at CSIT is constantly engaged in providing feasible solutions to complex Engineering problems, which may include in-house design and development. It also supports researchers in making their experimental set–ups and modifications if required in existing ones. The Central Workshop is spread in 588.30 Sq. Mtr. area and comprises of Machine shop, Welding Shop, Fitting Shop, Foundry Shop, Carpentry Shop, and Black Smithy Shop. The central workshop is following the 5S standard practice for proper workplace management. Trained and experienced staffs are the assets of this Central facility.
