The Chinmaya College of Arts, Commerce, and Science was founded in 1995 inspired by the ideals of the great visionary and sage Swami Chinmayananda. Guided by his vision, the Chinmaya Mission was founded in 1953 as the nucleus of a spiritual revival movement that today encompasses a wide range of spiritual, educational, and charitable activities. The mission, currently headed by His Holiness Swami Swaroopananda, is managed by the Central Chinmaya Mission Trust (CCMT) in Mumbai, India. Chinmaya College of Arts, Commerce, and Science operates under the auspices of Chinmaya Mission, which operates over a hundred schools and colleges across India and is an international school in Coimbatore.
