Pharmacology Lab
The lab is equipped with sophisticated instruments like an isolated organ bath, assemblies for isolated tissue experiments, rota rod apparatus, analgesiomenter, convulsiometer, Cook’s pole apparatus, etc. Various experiments set up in the lab include isolated tissue experiments. In vivo pharmacological screening experiments for CNS, CVS, Respiratory, GIT, and Renal drugs.
Anatomy and Physiology Lab
The lab has sophisticated instruments like haemocytometers, b.p. measurement apparatus, ECG machine, spirometer, muscle physiology experiment apparatus, Isolated heart experiments, anatomical models and charts, etc. Various experiments set up in the lab include basic hematological experiments, respiratory and cardiovascular physiology experiments, and experiments on human anatomy using histological slides, anatomy charts, and models.
Physical Pharmacy
The lab is equipped with modern instruments like equipment for Reynolds number measurement, balances, microscopes, various manometers and flow meters, and distillation assembly. Various experiments set up in the lab include pharmaceutical engineering, unit processes in pharmaceutics, and the study of the physical properties of various materials used for formulation.
Pharmaceutical Technology Lab
The lab contains sophisticated instruments like 10 stations rotary tablet machine, ampoule washing, filling, sealing, and clarity testing apparatus, capsule filling machines, ointment filling machine, collapsible tube crimping machine, 6 station digital dissolution test apparatus, disintegration apparatus, friability and hardness tester for tablets, infrared moisture balance, tincture press, dry granulator, wet granulator, tablet coating pan, ball mill, planetary mixer.
Industrial Pharmacy Lab
The lab has instruments like deionizer, suppository molds, centrifuge, etc. Various experiments set up of the lab including drug formulation preparation, stability studies, and in-process testing studies can be conducted in this lab.
Pharmaceutical Microbiology and Biotechnology Lab
The lab has a varied collection of instruments like an aseptic room, laminar air flow bench, autoclaves, B.O.D. incubators, dry heat sterilizers, filtration assembly for sterilization, antibiotic zone reader, digital colony counting apparatus, refrigerator, microscopes, etc. Various experiments set up in the lab include staining and culturing of bacteria using microbial assay, and sterility testing.
Pharmaceutical Chemistry Lab
The lab is well equipped with instruments like Fume cupboards, Centrifuges, microscopes, glassware, and other requirements for qualitative and quantitative estimation of various biochemicals. Various experiments set up in the lab include qualitative and quantitative estimation of various biochemicals.
Pharmaceutical Analysis Lab
The lab is equipped with sophisticated instruments like Analytical Balances, equipment, and glassware pertaining to quantitative analysis of various drugs by I.P., B.P., and U.S.P. methods. Various experiments set up in the lab include Acid-base, redox, complexometric, Gravimetric, Non-aqueous, potentiometric, spectrophotometric titrations, Karl Fischer titrations, fluorimetric estimations, conductometric estimation of buffer capacity, etc.
Instrumentation Lab
The lab has sophisticated instruments like Colorimeters, Conductivity meters, Digital pH meters, Flame-photometers, Karl-Fischers apparatus, photo fluorimeter, polarimeter, potentiometer, refractometer, and spectrophotometer. Various experiments set up in the lab include Experiments based on Instrumental methods of analysis.
Pharmacognosy Lab – I
The lab contains instruments like microscopes, soxhlet apparatuses, tlc spreaders, column chromatography apparatus, charts for plant microscopy, and herbal drugs museum. Various experiments set up in the lab include experiments pertaining to the study of macroscopic, microscopic, and chemical analysis of herbal drugs, and extraction of active constituents using various techniques.
Pharmacognosy Lab – II
The lab is equipped with sophisticated instruments like Microscopes, Extraction instruments, etc. Various experiments set up in the lab include pharmacognostic and phytochemical studies of various plant drugs.

Drug information is the process of providing information on the safe and effective use of therapeutic and diagnostic pharmaceuticals.
