Christ the King Polytechnic College, Coimbatore, started in the year 1985, is promoted and run by the R.C. diocese of Coimbatore. The R.C. Bishop of Coimbatore Diocese, His Excellency The Most Rev.Dr.L.Thomas Aquinas, M.A., D.D., D.C.L., is the Chairman and Very Rev.Fr.John Joseph Stanis is the Correspondent and Thiru.A.Antony Fernandez is the  Principal. The College is situated at a distance of 16 km to the south of Coimbatore city in calm and congenial surrounding with the Coimbatore - Pollachi highway running on the East.

Library:

The Central Library of Christ the King Polytechnic College has a vast collection of books including Engineering, Technical, Science & Humanities, General, Placement & Training. The main aim of the Central Library is to provide information services and access to print and resources to support the informational needs of the Institute community. The fully computerized central library is well equipped with modern facilities and resources in the form of books, and printed and electronic journals. An open internal access system is being followed to access books and journals.

Hostel Facilities:

A hostel facility is provided for Boys inside the Campus accommodating 108 students in the current year. For Girls hostel facility is provided in CHRISTEL Hostel.
