Residential Accommodations:

Students come to CEC from across the country. The Hostel at CEC provides a friendly environment making the students feel at home. The rooms are well furnished, ventilated, with attached bathrooms, proper housekeeping facilities, and telephone facilities, and are equipped with all the basic amenities. Hygiene and cleanliness are the basic requirements that are very well taken care of to maintain a homely atmosphere for students availing of this facility. Hygienic and healthy food is prepared and served to make sure the students are provided with the best of services The hostel at CGC has an activity center, gymnasium, common room, reading room, canteen till late hours & other basic amenities like hot water supply during winters. We understand that most of our students are moving away from home for the first time, so we strive to make the transition as smooth as possible by offering comfortable and safe residential facilities within the campus. CEC offers separate hostels for boys and girls with a warden in each hostel to supervise day-to-day management.

Library:

We at CCHMCT, Landran have computerized state-of-the-art libraries. To encourage and promote advanced reading and research-based activities our libraries have subscriptions to select e-journals and databases from relevant resources. This further gives access to articles, books, and reference material online. The central library of the College is computerized and is stocked with thousands of books. In addition to the course books, general books on personality development, general knowledge, handbooks, yearbooks, reference books, etc. are also accessible. Magazines of current interest along with national and regional dailies are also made available to keep the students abreast with the day-to-day happenings in and around the world. The library is well-furnished and can easily accommodate around 200 students at a time.

Restaurants:

The two exclusive restaurants in the college, the Advanced Training Restaurant (Hot Cocoa) and the Basic Training Restaurant (BTR) are aesthetically designed to give the students a real feel of service in a fine dining environment as in any of the five-star restaurants. Adorned with luxurious interiors along with all the modern service equipment and facilities, they act as valuable assets for the students to hone their service skills.

Labs & Training Centres:

The food production department at CCHMCT incorporates state of art laboratories for experiential learning. The college has three state-of-the-art Kitchens namely the Basic Training Kitchen (BTK), the Quantity Food Kitchen (JFK), and the Advanced Training Kitchen (ATK) which are fully equipped with the latest appliances, cooking range, refrigeration, and all the other modern gadgets and equipment.

Conference Hall:

The students have a dedicated conference hall of international standards at their disposal for comprehensive training in Personality Development and Group Discussions. The hall is fully air-conditioned and equipped with the latest public address system and LCD projector screen to facilitate guest lectures, discussions, presentations, seminars, etc.

Sports Facilities:

Chandigarh College of Hotel Management and Catering Technology, Landran equally emphasizes sports activities for students to ensure physical and mental growth. Our Physical Education Department regularly organizes Inter Collegiate competitions and tournaments. Sports events and Inter College Tournaments develop all around personalities of the students. The students of the CGC regularly participate in inter-collegiate tournaments in various sports and events both within the campus and outside the campus and have won several prizes for the college. The need and importance of the Internet in the field of education is supported by round-the-clock high-speed Internet connectivity of 105Mbps 1:1 and has a strong backbone of dedicated OFC links throughout the campus which helps the students surf the Web at their convenience. Thus, they can enhance their knowledge as well as extract unlimited Information. In addition to this, the students are also being provided Wireless connectivity (Wi-Fi) enabling the students to access online information anywhere on and around the campus using their Laptops.

We have a dedicated team of qualified professionals to work on overall personality development throughout the year of hospitality students to make them ready and employable in the best brands of the hospitality industry.
