Laboratories
College of Agriculture, Hassan has well-equipped laboratories for teaching and learning core and allied subjects of the curriculum. The state-of-the-art agricultural chemistry laboratory is established for conducting chemical analyses of diverse plant and soil samples as a part of the curriculum as well as contemporary research. The plant pathology lab is also tailor-made to meet the requirements of teaching as well as disease forecasting. Major facilities in the pathology lab are a bio-safety containment facility, high-resolution microscope, ELISA reader, etc. Agri. The microbiology lab is strengthened with facilities for bench-scale fermentation, bio-fertilizer production, studies on bio-control agents, and bio-energy.
Medical/Hospital
A full-fledged University Hospital under the supervision of a whole time Chief Medical Officer in charge of a Surgeon, Two Contract Medical officers, and a Lady Medical Officer who renders round-the-clock service to the students and staff members and their families. There is a separate ward for Male and female students. All the serious cases are referred to big hospitals like Malaya Hospital, Manipal Hospital, and Columbia Hospital.

On campus, there is a full-fledged office for the Training and Placement department. The department features a private boardroom and five-panel rooms with all of the necessary equipment to conduct campus hiring programs. Ndrk Institute Of Technology, Hassan placement cell conducts an introductory talk about the opportunities, as well as career growth and planning, along with sessions on communication skills, and soft skills. Bachelor of Science (B.Sc) Eligibility Criteria
A person, who has passed Higher Secondary/Intermediate (10+2) with science stream or any other examination recognized as equivalent thereto, shall be eligible for the course.
Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech) in Food Science Eligibility Criteria
Passed 10+2 examination with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects along with one of the Chemistry/ Biotechnology/ Biology/ Technical Vocational subjects/ Computer Science/ Information Technology/ Informatics Practices/ Agriculture/ Engineering Graphics/ Business Studies. Obtained at least 45% marks (40% marks in case of candidates belonging to reserved category) in the above subjects taken together. OR Passed the Diploma (in Engineering and Technology) examination with at least 45% marks (40% marks in case of candidates belonging to reserved category) subject to vacancies in the First Year, in case the vacancies at lateral entry are exhausted.
