The College of Computer Sciences (CCS) was established in 2000 by the Institute of Science, Poona to meet the growing needs of Computer Science education and training. The institute, being recognized by the Savitribai Phule Pune University not only provides Graduation and Post graduation instruction for various computer science courses of the University but also guides the field of Computer ( Sciences & Applications ), Commerce, Economics, and Management areas. Most of our past students are placed and hold high-ranking positions in different corporate bodies, leading business organizations as well as being entrepreneurs having their industries.

CCS Computer Laboratory

The college has 8 huge computer laboratories with more than 350 computers to accommodate and run a maximum number of classes consecutively. The labs are well-equipped with the latest computers and software of company standards so that the students need not worry about the absence of knowledge requirements in their respective fields.

CCS Digital Classroom

The huge and well-ventilated spacious classroom is available with a capacity of more than 120 students. The classroom is a learning space where we provide interactive learning processes by using digital aids. Our classrooms are well equipped with overhead and LCD projectors along with a public address system with proper arrangements for Laptop power supply. The furniture used in classrooms is of good quality to enable students for 5 hours of comfortable and continuous learning.

CCS Auditorium

The Institute has a huge auditorium with a capacity of more than 300 people where many cultural events are organized. The Auditorium severs as a space for encouraging creativity and fostering communication. The various Meetings, Lectures of Guest speakers, and various completions are held at the auditorium. The auditorium has a very advanced sound system. There is also Digital Video Projector for better and enhanced communication.

CCS Canteen

The college canteen is available for a quick bite during college hours. One can head towards the canteen for a cup of tea or lunch. Different dishes are made available which include bakery items, south Indian dishes, breakfast, and lunch. The cleanliness and hygiene of the canteen are maintained so that the students need not worry about the quality of the food being served and can savor the dishes without any hesitation.

CCS Gymnasium

The gym is fully equipped to give its students, all the facilities of a multi-faceted gym. Along with the ground available for the students, the gym area has been kept spacious to accommodate almost 30 people at a time, consisting of different weight machines, cardio- machines, exercise cycles, and free weights. The gym membership is available to its students at very nominal costs.

CCS Sports

College not only prides itself on providing the best education, but we also encourage students to participate in many extra-curricular activities. The sports department of the college is available for the students to give them exposure to the sports which they want to play. Our students have won many laurels over the years and have made the college proud. Basketball, Football, Volleyball, Cricket, Athletics, Badminton and many indoor games are chosen by the students for playing.

CCS Wi-Fi Zone

CCS – Wakad always looks out to help its students in whichever way possible. And as most of the world gets digital, students have to have 24*7 access to the internet. We provide Wi-Fi to students for their studies and project work and have created Wi-Fi zones in the college for access during after-college hours.
