Kallooppara College of Engineering (CEK), located in the Sylvan Hills district of Pathanamthitta, Kerala, is a leading institution among the new-generation engineering colleges in South India. Since its inception under the auspices of the Human Resource Development Institute (IHRD, established by the Government of Kerala), the university has already made its mark on the state's technical horizon. The school is affiliated with APJ Abdul Kalam TechnologicalUniversity (APJAKTU) and recognized by the Government of India's All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE). Laboratories and workshops: 

CEK's laboratories and workshops are well-maintained and state-of-the-art. These include a computer lab, an electronics lab, an electrical lab, and a mechanical lab. The infrastructure of these labs is sufficient to prepare students to handle modern technologies through regular lab sessions led by experienced and highly qualified technical staff and trained assistants.

Although the University is well connected to major cities via the rush hour public transport system, the University has its own transport facilities to Chengennur, Thiruvalla, Changanacherry, Karukachal, Pathanamthitta, Kozhencherry, Vennikulam, and Mallappally.
